IRTEX – DEVELOPMENT OF TEXTIL PROTECTION FROM THE INFRARED RADIATION FOR REDUCING THE TEMPERATURE
The main goal of Francisco Jover S.A. has been the development of curtains with reflecting infrared radiation features (with an important thermal component) and fire retardant capacity through the investigation of nano/micro technology in ceramic and metallic reflecting materials. In both formats, yarn or coating, the result is positive and we have reached a fabric which can reduce the temperature of places exposed to the sunlight, reducing the need of using air conditioning systems or other refrigeration solutions.
